




Indonesia is home to a vibrant culinary landscape, rich in tradition and creativity. In 2025, CJ Foods Indonesia and The Sages International Culinary Business School proudly present the bibigo | Sages Young Chef Competition 2025 , a national platform for aspiring young chefs to shine.
This competition invites young chefs: alumni or students from culinary or hospitality schools as well as vocational high schools from across Indonesia to express their aspiration by fusing the diverse and richness of Indonesian cuisine with the bold and iconic flavors of Korean ingredients. The competition is not only a challenge of technical skill but also a celebration of innovation and cultural appreciation.
Through this program, we aim to discover talented young chefs who are ready to showcase their ability, passion, and creativity to the world. Winners will not only receive substantial prizes, but also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Korean culinary culture through a special culinary tour to Korea, where they will learn and practice with Korean students as well as visiting CJ Factories and fine dining restaurants across the country.

Participants must be between 18–25 years old by the year of submission.
Open exclusively to hospitality and culinary students and alumni (Vocational High School, Degree or Non-Degree education program).
Each submission must be the original work of the contestant and must not have been published or submitted in other competitions.
Entries must be submitted according to the competition theme.
Entries must be submitted individually. Team submissions are not accepted.
Contestants must submit a video and a recipe to join the competition. All submissions will be judged according to this Rule Book.
Each participant may submit only one video.
Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Entry materials (video and recipe) must be submitted before the deadline (7 days after registration).
All submitted content remains the property of the participants, but the organizers have the right to use the materials for promotional purposes.
Selected finalists must attend all rounds at the designated venue as per schedule.
Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for misconduct or violation of rules.
All decisions made by the judge are final and cannot be contested.
Participants must comply with all technical, health, and safety regulations during the live competition.

Upon registration please Submit:

Proof of identity: Photo of ID Card or Driving License.

Proof of students/alumni status: Student Card/Alumni Card/Certificate of Completion/Letter of acknowledgement from schools.

Personal Photo with chef jacket

Transfer receipt to BCA Account 258 574 588 8 (Yayasan Sages International) in the amount of Rp.250,000 or Rp.100,000 if you register until May 31, 2025.

Submit your form, and our admin will get back to you

After submitting your Registration Form, our admin will contact you and provide the link to submit your recipe and video.

Please upload your recipe and video no later than 7 days after you received the confirmation email/Whatsapp, or as stated in the confirmation document. If you fail to upload your submission, you will be disqualified and will need to register again and may not be able to do so if the quota is being fulfilled.
