A Concrete Showcase of Excellence in Hospitality Competence Students of Akademi Sages Successfully Executed a Large-Scale Iftar Gathering Initiative

Over four consecutive days, students successfully organized a large-scale Iftar Gathering project, serving as a platform to demonstrate their competencies in Hospitality and Culinary Arts. This vibrant event was not merely a communal breaking of the fast, but an integrated academic project in which students took full control. From conceptual planning and operational management to table service, everything was executed according to five-star industry standards. This year’s success was made even more remarkable through the support of PT Multi Farmindo, represented by its brand Raja Bebek. As the main sponsor, PT Multi Farmindo provided high-quality protein ingredients, which were creatively transformed by the students into exclusive and appetizing iftar dishes. This collaboration stands as a clear example of synergy between the education sector and industry. Students were challenged to process industry-partner products using precise culinary techniques, gaining hands-on experience in maintaining food quality and plating presentation.

Throughout the four-day event, Akademi Sages also welcomed distinguished guests from various sectors. Among them were Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers from several high schools in Surabaya and surrounding areas. Their presence aimed to provide a direct insight into the practical and applied learning process at Akademi Sages. In addition, representatives from government institutions and private sector partners were also in attendance. This created a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their professionalism directly to potential employers.
