In 2006, the Sages International Foundation realized the vision of Dr. Kim Manjo to improve the quality of life of the Indonesian people by establishing The Sages Institute International in Surabaya, as an institution dedicated to providing education and training in the culinary field that is effective, efficient, of high quality, and of international standards.
As it continued to grow and in response to the increasing interest and demand for culinary arts education, on October 16, 2019, through the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 983/KPT/1/2019, The Sages Institute International officially transformed into Akademi Sages, with a strong commitment to becoming a leading vocational culinary institution in East Java.
