Sages Academy Students Shine at the 2nd Bakat Boga Challenge 2026

Yogyakarta — Sages Academy reaffirmed its reputation for excellence as its students delivered remarkable performances at the 2nd Bakat Boga Challenge 2026. Hosted by the Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP), this esteemed culinary competition ran from April 8 to 11, 2026, at the Jogjakarta Expo Center, allowing aspiring chefs to display their creativity and culinary prowess.


In this event, Sages Academy students secured numerous awards across a wide range of categories, from traditional dishes to contemporary culinary creations. These accomplishments highlight not only the institution’s high educational standards but also the students’ commitment to continuously refining their skills.


Among the key achievements, Julianto and Pricilla Br Barus (Class of 2023) earned Silver and placed in the Top 3 in the Nasi Tumpeng category. Ryan Taqwa and Moh. Ikhsan Kurniawan (Class of 2025) was awarded a Diploma in the same category. In the Jajanan Pasar category, Ahmad Ghulam Asyrah and Farrell Aurelio Tjokrowinoto (Class of 2025) received Bronze, followed by Vioren Tricia Innocentia E. and Natasya (Class of 2023), who also secured Bronze. Pricilla Br Barus further added to her achievements by earning a Diploma in the Modern Jajanan Pasar category.


In other categories, Adelia Mutia Zahira (Class of 2024) achieved Bronze and a Top 3 placement in the Dress The Cake category. Julianto (Class of 2023) also earned Silver in the Nasi Goreng category, further contributing to Sages Academy’s impressive track record in the competition.



These achievements were made possible through the comprehensive support provided by Sages Academy in preparing its students. The institution facilitated funding for research and development (R&D) of competition products, offered mentorship from lecturers, instructors, and alumni, and conducted an intensive two-week training program leading up to the competition.


As a form of appreciation, Sages Academy also recognizes and rewards student achievements, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.


Participation and success in this competition reflect Sages Academy’s strong commitment to developing highly skilled culinary professionals. It is hoped that these accomplishments will inspire more students to compete, innovate, and bring greater recognition to the institution on a broader stage.
