Surabaya, May 31, 2026 — Sixth-semester students of Akademi Sages successfully held a Student Bazaar for three days, from May 29 to May 31, 2026, at Atrium Tunjungan Plaza 3, Surabaya. This activity served as one of the implementations of entrepreneurship learning, encouraging students to develop their creativity, innovation, and ability to market products directly to the public. During the bazaar, students offered a variety of culinary products, including food, cakes, and beverages. Each product showcased the students’ creativity, not only in terms of concept, taste, and presentation, but also in marketing strategy. Through this activity, students learned not only how to produce attractive food products, but also how to communicate with customers, determine selling prices, arrange product displays, and create market appeal.



In addition to the selling activities, the bazaar was also enlivened by various stage programs that were open to the public. Several activities that attracted visitors’ attention included Bento Cake Decoration and a cake pop-making demonstration. These activities provided an interactive experience for the public while also serving as a light educational activity related to pastry and cake decoration. The Student Bazaar was part of the practical implementation of the Entrepreneurship course, in which students are required to develop creative, independent, and innovative thinking in creating and marketing their own products. Through direct field experience, students were able to understand the challenges of the business world, ranging from product preparation, customer service, and promotion to sales evaluation.


In addition to serving as a learning platform, this activity also became an opportunity for Akademi Sages to introduce itself to the wider community. The presence of Akademi Sages in one of Surabaya’s prominent shopping centers was an important momentum to strengthen the institution’s branding, particularly as an academy committed to producing creative, skilled, and competitive graduates who are ready to face the culinary industry and the world of entrepreneurship. Through this activity, Akademi Sages hopes that students will be able to develop an entrepreneurial spirit from an early stage, not only as product creators but also as business practitioners who are capable of identifying market opportunities. This bazaar also demonstrates that the learning process at Akademi Sages is not limited to the classroom, but is also carried out through practical experiences that are relevant to the needs of the professional world and industry.

With the successful implementation of this Student Bazaar, students are expected to become more confident in developing business ideas, expanding networks, and improving their communication and marketing skills.
