Sages Academy proudly concluded its Sages Student Orientation (SSO) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, which took place over the course of a full week from August 11 to August 16, 2025. The event was enthusiastically attended by all new students from various regions across Indonesia. Carrying the theme “Cook Your Dreams and Vibes with Sages,” the orientation program was designed to introduce new students to the campus environment, academic culture, institutional values, and to provide foundational guidance for a productive and integrity-driven college experience. In his opening remarks, the Director of Sages Academy, Drs. Bawa Mulyono Hadi, M.M., stated, “This orientation is not merely a campus introduction, but the beginning of a transformative journey for students in shaping their future. We aim to ensure that every new student feels welcomed, inspired, and ready to grow.”

The SSO series began with a Parents Gathering session, where parents were informed about the vision, mission, and flagship programs of Sages Academy. This session was intended to build trust between parents and the institution where their children will pursue their higher education. On the second day, the orientation continued with sessions dedicated to the new students, featuring presentations on the campus’s vision, mission, and programs, followed by a talk show involving alumni and a guest appearance by a celebrity chef. The talk show discussed the journey to becoming a professional chef. On the third and fourth days, new students were challenged to create innovative dishes using sponsored products from La Fency and Mie Burung Dara. In addition, students were grouped and tasked with selling their culinary creations. This challenge aligns with Sages Academy’s goal of nurturing students to become entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry.
Throughout the week-long orientation, students expressed great excitement and joy, stating that the program was unique and highly engaging. The orientation concluded with a traditional tumpeng cutting ceremony and several competitions held on the Sages Surabaya campus.
