Pradita University held a Batavia-themed culinary competition that showcased students’ creativity in presenting authentic Betawi flavors using modern techniques. Two representatives from Akademi Sages, Patricia Christie and Ebbya Kamga, won a Gold Medal through their innovative dishes that preserved the authenticity of Betawi cuisine. The event serves as a concrete step in preserving Indonesia’s culinary heritage.

La Cuisine Competition returned at SIAL InterFOOD 2025, bringing together more than 1,000 participants from eight countries at JIExpo Kemayoran. The Academy of Sages proudly joined the event, earning outstanding achievements with gold and silver medals in multiple categories. This international platform highlights strong collaboration between education, industry, and entrepreneurs, strengthening Indonesia’s presence in the global culinary arena.

Angelus Juan Marian, a 2022 student of Akademi Sages, proudly represented Indonesia at the Forum Hotel Malaysia culinary competition in Kuala Lumpur. Showcasing Indonesia’s traditional dish, pepes, and a creative dessert fusion, Juan’s impressive performance earned him a silver medal in the professional category.
